Service Description

Next Date: 11th-12th June Combine your love of stand-up paddleboard and hiking in one amazing adventure weekend ! Explore the beauty of the Lake district from the water and the mountains . Experience wild camping in unique and tranquil setting on a remote lake island Small group : Maximum of 8 adventurers. Minimum of 4 to proceed Itinerary 0900 Saturday 11th June. Meet your guide at Lakeside carpark , Lake Road, Keswick, CA12 5DJ 0920 Head off on our paddleboards for the day exploring Derwantwater and taking our kit to our selected island to set up our camp. Head out again for a short paddle and early afternoon hike ( Moderate difficulty with some minor scrambling. Distance approx 6 miles) to enjoy sensational panoramic views over Keswick, Derwent Water and Borrowdale. Return in time for a quick afternoon dip in the clear waters of the Lake. Warm up with an evening BBQ on the beach. Day 2: Sunday 12th June Early morning paddle on the Sunday to explore more of the islands and wildlife before heading back to Keswick Experience Suitable for experienced Paddlers, the focus is on exploring ,enjoying the environment, improving skills and sharing the adventure. There's plenty of time for skill development and tips on orienteering, navigation and wild camping. What to bring ? Your own Standup paddleboards and personal flotation device Wild Camping kit list to be provided. Each adventurer is responsible for their own meals.
